YouTube-LogoIn einer Pressemittleilung gab Apple heute bekannt, dass es für das iPhone zum Start am 29. Juni eine (von Apple entwickelte) Applikation für YouTube geben wird, mit der man seine YouTube-Videos dann auch via WiFi oder EDGE auf das iPhone streamen kann:

Apple® today announced that iPhone™ users will be able to enjoy YouTube’s originally-created content on their iPhones when they begin shipping on June 29. A new Apple-designed application on iPhone will wirelessly stream YouTube’s content to iPhone over Wi-Fi or EDGE networks and play it on iPhone’s stunning 3.5 inch display.

“iPhone delivers the best YouTube mobile experience by far,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO.

Das ist also die geheimnisvolle 12. Applikation, die Apple uns bislang verschwiegen hatte. Haut mich jetzt allerdings nicht wirklich vom Hocker. Euch vielleicht?
